In order to preserve American jobs, Senator Harkin has worked to eliminate tax policies that incentivize businesses to shift jobs abroad. He supports efforts to reduce tax avoidance by individuals who hold hidden profits overseas and government contracting reforms that will discourage employers from shifting jobs abroad.
